TREASURY PAYS FEES

The Treasury paid General Lord Byng’s fees for his viscounty.—A. and N.Z. cable.
A cable yesterday stated that General Lord Byng’s viscount had at last been gazetted. *lt was conferred in 1926, but Lord Byng refused, to pay the fees amounting to almost £IOOO.
