HEAVY DEATH DUTIES.
LORD DERBY PREPARING.
LONDON, Nov. 28. Lord Derby, in a letter to the Mayor of Bottle, says that he realised how heavy the death duties payable at his death would be, and reluctantly decided that it was advisable to sell during his lifetime, rather than that there should be a forced sale after death.— A. and N.Z. cable.
