HAWKE CUP.
COMPETITION RULES,

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 29. Several proposals which had a bearing on the Hawke Cup competition for decision among the minor associations or New Zealand were before a'meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket .Council last night. The proposals were held over pending the receipt of opinions from the associations regarding the resolution forwarded by the sub-committee from a conference of the minor associations that there be a second competition open -to the lower divisions ot the minor ■ associations which would be classified for that purpose according to thir playing strength.
