TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
The annual exhibition of work accompliohed by tho students of the Palmerston North Technical School concluded on Saturday. Quite a large number of person?, including a quota from the country, viewed the display and the creditable exhibits of confectionery, needlework, art, mechanical parts, dressmaking, millinery and woodwork constituted a tribute to the secondary and technical instruction received by the pupils, while practical demonstrations created much interest among the visitors. “We are pleased with the exhibition,’’ stated the director, Mr G. G. Hancox, to a “Standard” representative this morning, “and we feel that the extra work entailed has been fully repaid by the large amount of interest revealed, especially by country parents."
