The scheduled endurance flight of the Southern Cnoss has been postponed until Monday. Captain KingsfordSmith stated that the. reason was that there had to be a variation of onetliousandth of an inch in an adjustment of the motors. He mentioned December 16 as the possible date for his departure for Australia, and announced that the Southern Cross had been re-christened the “Spirit of California.”—A. and N.Z. cable. GILES TO TRY AGAIN. SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 25. Captain Giles has anounced that he intends to hop off again on the Pacific flight within ten days, in the light of the next full moon. The airman appears elated over the expression of confidence from Rosewarne, and is proceeding with his plans to bring the ’plane here from San Simeon. —A. and NtZ. cable. COBHAM DELAYED. Received November 28, 8.20 a.m. MALTA, Nov. 27. Sir Alan Oobham has been delayed for a few days repairing some slight damage to a wing float. —A. and N.Z. cable.
