TO BETTER INTERESTS.

OF A. AND P. ASSOCIATIONS.

Tho fact that northern A. and P. Associations are to combine with the other associations of the North Island in taking part in the North Island Conference of Agricultural and Pastoral Associations was reported to the monthly meeting of the Manawatu Association this morning by Mr M. A. Conway, who pointed out that, since the inauguration of the conference, much good had been done. Now, with Auckland linked up, even better results would follow, and he was of tho opinion that Auckland’s decision was to be highly commended. It had also been decided, Mr Conway added, to hold a secretaries’ conference on the day prior to tho opening of the North Island conference, this being to enable secretaries to bring forward matters of importance for the consideration of the conference. This departure, he considered, would be of great benefit to all connected with A. and P. Associations.
