DECISIONS BY ASSOCIATIONS

Arising out of a report presented at the last meeting of the A. and P. Association’s general coniinitteg by Mr M. A. Eliott, the senior gate steward, the committee this morning decided, on the recommendation of the finance committee, as follows: That scholars (non-players) of secondary schools be charged 6d for admission to the grandstand at the Winter Show. That the books of exhibitors’ passes be abolished and single tickets issued. That the gate charges remain as at present. (Mr Eliott’s suggestion in this regard was that the charge be reduced during the day from Is 6d to Is). That the suggestion to allow cars in the grounds in the evening be adopted. That seating and table accommodation he provided in the counter luncheon room. That, for the better control of drivers of commercial motor vehicles, drivers of such be supplied with tickets having conditions printed on them.
