ANNUAL TOURNAMENT

AUCKLAND, Aug. 15. The annual tournament between Auckland and Wellington Training Colleges was commenced to-day. In the tennis matches Auckland won 12 games and Wellington four. In the athletic events Wellington gained 15 points and Auckland 13. ' In boxing, this evening, Auckland won four matches and Wellington one.
Auckland is now leading for the Millies memorial bowl, which is won by the college gaining most points in tennis, athletics, boshing, football, basketball, hockey, swimming and cricket. The points scored to-day are as follow :—Tennis, AVellington nil, Auckland 2; athletics, Wellington’ nil, Auckland 2.
The crciket match, ‘-which was played earlier in the year, was won by Auckland, thus bringing its aggregate to 6 points against AVellington’s nil:
