CAMPAIGN AGAINST REBELS

ROME, Aug. 13. Pi'ports from Benghazi (Cirenaica) state that the Italian campaign against the rebel mountain tribes resulted, firstly, in isolated encounters, in which a small number of the enemy were killed. Then the airmen notified the presence of the main body retreating to Wadigabar, and a flying column, aided by tanks, overtook these, killing 200 and capturing 700 camels.—A. and N.Z. cable.
