The crowd expressed its disapproval at the slow fighting with prolonged booing and cat-calls against both men. A brisk rally in the sixth round ended in Scott reeling on the ropes from a blow to the stomach. He collapsed in agony, and was awarded the fight.—A. and N.Z. cable.
