BRIGHT FUTURE PREDICTED.

AUCKLAND, April 22
A bright future for New Zealand’s manufacturing industries provided the articles possess an artistic appeal as well as high quality was forecast by the speakers at the initial ■ luncheon of the New Zealand-made Preference League. Mr T. H. Macky, who presided over a large attendance of business men, said that New Zealand goods in the past had been cursed by the prejudice against them—a prejudice which the League had vigorously combated. He was confident- that an_ examination of our factories and their output would convince anyone of the merit of the Dominion article.
