METHODIST CHURCH.
LONGBURN ANNIVERSARY
The Longburn Methodist Church celebrated its anniversary on Sunday last, and both the afternoon and evening services were well attended. Rev. Harold T. Peat preached in the afternoon and Mr Hall in the evening. The church was beautifulU decorated for the occasion by the lady members. About twenty ladies attended the monthly meeting of the Methodist Guild on Tuesday. General satisfaction was expressed at the great success of the recent bazaar and concert held in the hall, the financial result, it was reported, being most gratifying.
