POST OFFICE WANTED.
PAHIATUA DEPUTATION, Per Press Association. PAHI4SUA, March 17. “Like mice a"cage'’ was the description given by one member of a hig deputation to Mr Ransom, M.P., urging the need for a new post office and automatic telephone exchange on a central site purchased some time ago. The present building is very antiquated and out of the way. The local claims were pressed very strongly, especially in view of ministerial statements made when the question was previously mentioned.
