NUMEROUS CHARGES.
BROTHERS BEFORE COURT
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 17. Three brothers, named Dickman and another person marked McDevi.tt were charged at tliev,Police Court • with numerous offences,-pf breaking and entering and theft at Papatoetoe, Mangere, Otaluihu, Ellerslie and the city. Senior-Detective Hammond stated that he visited a house in Freeman’s Bay on March 9 and property of the estimated value of £l7O. At this house six Dickman brothers resided. Stolen property was also recovered fnom McDevitt’s possession. A red motor car was used for the removal of goods. In- nearly every case an entrance was gained bv fanlights or skylights. A statement had been made and signed by all four accused admitting the charges. At the end of the'case accused, who pleaded not guilty, reserved thafc defence and were committed for tirol at the Supreme Court. {
