WELLINGTON CENTRE’S TOURNEY. There was not a vestige of an excuse for any bowler playing a bad bowl in tho final game of tho Wellington eentre’6 annual rink tourney, played on New Year’s Day between the two Hataitai rinks, skipped by Fielding and Halliday, which had won through to the end of the five days’ play. Tho sun blazed from a cloudless sky and the wind, for once, was at rest. The result of tho game w'as as follows: Hataitai: Emerson. Cometti, Ardell, Halliday (s) 17; Haitaitai: Hunter, Wearne, Claridge, Fielding (s) 15. At the conclusion of the game the president of the centre, Mr S. M.
