The Manawatu Hunt’s point-to-point steeplechases, to have been held -at To Matai on Wednesday next, have been postponed till Wedliesday, August 11. On Wednesday evening next the Social Club will hold another of its popular euchre tourneys in the Oddfellows’ Hall. ' Besides the usual good prizes a gold wristlet watch will be awarded to the player who wins all the games but two played during the evening. Supper will bo provided and patrons are asked to be early. Women’s directoiro bloomers greatly reduced at the O. M. Ross Co., Ltd.’s. In grey or creme, all wool weave, extra comfortable and warm.
