ASSAULT BY YOUTH.

REMANDED FOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. Herbert John Lilley, a youth, was remanded for sentence to-day after the hearing of a charge against him of assaulting a girl by attempting to kiss her in a train going through the Lyttelton tunnel in August last. The police said that during the struggle a window was broken. The guard came along, and accused gave the name of Smith. He had only been traced this week.
