TRAINS DELAYED.
MISHAP NEAR AUCKLAND. WAGGON LEAVES RAILS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 26. There was serious delay to the two Main Trunk expresses for Wellington last night and the Limited bound north was an hour late in arrival thi3 morning. The delay was caused by the waggon of a shunting train between Newmarket and Remuera leavjng the rails about 6.55 p.m. Several trains were soon banked up on each side of the mishap. The south-bound Limited was delayed for an hour and 49 minutes and the ordinary express for an hour and 13 minute.
The south-bound Main Trunk train was approximately an hour and a-quar-ter late in reaching Palmerston North this morning.
