CAPTIVE BIRDS.
USE IN SHOOTING MATCHES.
PROPOSED PROHIBITION. Per Press - Association. WELLINGTON, June 24. The Captive Birds Shooting Prohibition Bill was introduced in the Legislative Council to-day by Hon. G. M. Thomson and read the first time. The bill is designed to prohibit the use of captive birds in all snooting carried on under artificial conditions and seeks to inflict a penalty not exceeding £25.
