Tho alarm bells ill the Square were not working at all well this morning and it was not until the train to Napier was within V chain of the Post Office that the bells began feebly ringing The public, long used to tho warning of approaching trains, is apt to become careless and the non-ring-ing of the bells may possibly lead to an accident.
