GROWING TALLER. RICKETS DISAPPEARING. LONDON, Juno 16. A health official of thp London County "Council, discussing the statement of a Now Sou ( tli Wales doctor, that children born in Australia of Australian parents are taller and heavier than children born overseas, recalls that an examination of a thousand children of South London schools, in 1906, showed some children to be much taller than others. Re-examination of the same schools recently revealed the children to be taller and heavier, largely owing to the disappearance of rickets and to the better education of parents.
