PEA RIFLE ACCIDENT.
GIRL ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. DARGAVILLE, June 22. A nine-year-old daughter of Mr T. Gorrie, a resident of Tutamoe, met with a painful accident while out with her brother shooting with a pearifle. The boy stooped to tie a boot laco when the rifle accidentally exploded arid the bullet entered the girl’s leg above the ankle. The girl was brofight to Northern Wairoa Hospital, wheret she is progressing most favourably.
