WATERSIDE WORKERS.
ADDRESSED BY OFFICIALS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 24. Members of the Lyttelton AVaterside Workers’ Union held a stop-work meeting this morning, which lasted three hours. The meeting was addressed by ]\lessrs J. Glover and Roberts, of the Waterside Workers’ Federation. It is understood that members of the union resented Mr Roberts’s action in regard to the lid per hour increase and work on Saturday afternoons, and that Messrs Glover and Roberts attended the meeting to explain the position.
