RUSSIAN HELP.
FOR MONGOLIAN ARMY. LONDON, June 21, It is- reported from lleval, says a Riga message, that the Russian-Mon-golian military convention has concluded. The Mongolian Government agrees to increase its army, Russia to supply 2,00,000 rifles, with ammunition and other equipment. ‘ ‘There is every evidence that Russia, with a largo army, is out for war,” says Mr Austin Hopkinson, M.P., in explaining his refusal to attend the Peace Society’s annual meeting at the Guildhall, at which Mr Walter Runciman and Mr J. R. Clvnes moved a resolution favouring the admission of Russia into the League of Nations. The resolution was carried unanimously.
