WASHED IN HOSPITAL.
RICH PHOTOGRAPHER ILL. NO BATH FOR TWENTY YEARS. NEW YORK, June 16. Maria Jose Mora, an immensely wealthy and famous New York photographer, was found seriously ill in his apartment recently. It was learned that Mora, who is an old man, had not had a bath for oyer 20 years, on the advice of an Italian doctor, who told him bathing was injurious. He was removed to hospital where he was given a thoroughly good scrubbing. It is not expected that he will recover.
In his apartment the bathroom door was found to bo padlocked, and Mora admitted that he had had tho lock fitted, and then threw away the key in order to escape temptation.
