THREE BOYS IN TROUBLE
AUCKLAND, June 21. “It was an extremely petty and dirty action, and I cannot ; think of anything more cou templl bl e , sa id M r E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Children s Court when three boys admitted stealing pocket-knives and belt-lain es from the Jubilee Institute for the B 'Senior-Sergeant Edwards said the boys asked to be shown through the institute. They asked then g whether he could see and ho said he could not. They then took tlve articles awav with them. , . Mr Cutten said people were making sacrifices to give money t« the tute, and here were boys stealing non lt- Two of the bovs were ordered to be nlaced under the care of the child welfare officer for 12 months, and the other who was already on probation, for another offence, was admonished and discharged.
