AN UNDESIBABLE
LIST OF CONVICTIONS. NOT WANTED IN SYDNEY. TO BE RETURNED TO NEW ZEALAND. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received June 23, 9.40 a.m. SYDNEY, June 23. William Charles Wilson, alias Robert Curson, aged 24, was charged at the Police Court with being a prohibited immigrant. The Crown alleged that defendant entered the Commonwealth on June 1 from New Zealand, where ho had _ a long list of convictions .against him. In September, 1925, he was sentenced to three years on Rotoroa island, from where ho escaped and came to Sydney. Wilson was sentenced to three months’ hard labour in iorder that the authorities could send him back to New Zealand.—Press Association.
