BOXING.
Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, June 22. Les Murray, the boxer, who leaves to-day for America, was farewelled by members of the New Zealand Boxing Council and highly complimented on the high standard he had set and the esteem in which he is held. He was presented with an emphatic letter of recommendation from tho council.
