FINE OF FIY.E POUNDS
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 11. Sydney Harold Phillips was fined £5 for driving a motor car across a level crossing at Ohau when the lino was not clear. Evidence was given that accused did not stop the car, and dashed over the lino at 25 miles per hour only 50 feet in front of a train.
