A big property deal in the business area of Gisborne is reported, states a Press Association message, a company having acquired the freehold of half an acre of land, together with premises, for £27,000. A labourer named Edmund Neilsen, of Mangaliao, suffered an injury to the third finger of his right hand yesterday and was removed to the Palmerston North Hospital, where it was found necessary to amputate the member.
