NEW SOUTH WALES SCHEME. Received June 11, 12.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Juno 11. The State Government has decided to establish a State insurance office where every class of insurance business will he transacted. The bill has already been drafted. It is almost identical with tho Queensland scheme. Privato insurance companies regard the proposal with considerable misgiving as it will compete against them, not only on a lower premium basis, hut also proposes to make bonus payments to policy holders from tho excess profits.—Press Association.
