The Daily News states that a Liberal split lias ben averted, the Oxfordians and the Lloyd Georgians accepting the resolution of tho Liberal Federation, not only expresing confidence in the Easrl of Oxford, but also, at the request of the Lloyd Georgians, expressing the hope that tho Earl of Oxford would inspire all Liberals in the of vigorous social reform.—Sydney Sun cable.
