BREACH OF AGREEMENT.
INJUNCTION AGAINST GROCER

The Supreme Court has issued a writ of injunction, with 20s nominal damages, restraining Wiliiam Edward Gascoigne, a grocer, from selling Palmolive soap at less than the price fixed in an agreement ho had entered into with the Palmolive Company, which brought the action against him. The defence was that the selling of the soap at 8-)d for cash was equivalent to selling at 93, the fixed price, subject to discount, but Mr Justice Ostler held that this was a breach of the agreement. Costs on the middle scale were allowed. ,
