SPORTING.
Mr Ernie O'Neill, who was injured at tho trotting meeting at Ashhurst last month when Ilona fell with him, is still an inmate of tho Palmerston North Hospital. O’Neill was rather severely hurt, but is now progressing favourably. During his illness liis horses, Ilona and Gold Lad, are being looked after by W. Broughton at Ashhurst.
