LICENSING POLLS.
LONGER INTERVAL ANTICIPATED.
Per Press Association. WANGANUI, April 8. Mr P. Coyle, president of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association, at a meeting of local hotelkeepers to-day, was asked if he thought the trade would have a longer period between polls. He replied that ho thought the Government, during tho coming Parliament, would introduce legislation on tho basis of the 1924 Parliamentary eonunitteeis recommendations, which included provision for a longer tenure.
