BOWLING.
VISIT TO WELLINGTON
The president of the Manawatu Bowling Centro, Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., is at present arranging for a number of local players to journey to Wellington next Wednesday to oppose the clubs, the members of which favoured the local centre with. their presence at tho recent tournament. Already some 30 odd plajers of local and district clubs have notified their intention of making the trip and it is hoped to still further build up the number. Tho party will leave by tho Limited express, playing Thorndon and Seatoun in the morning and Lyall Bay and Island Bay in the afternoon, returning to Palmerston North by the Limited express tho same evening.
