LAWN TENNIS.
ANDREWS’ AUSTRALIAN CHANCES.
ELIGIBLE FOR JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Not many of those who have been following the so far good fortunes of the New Zealand tennis team in New South Wales are aware that Andrews and Wilson are eligible to compete in the New South Wales junior championships, as well as in the major event. The State junior championships are open 'to players of 17 .to 21 years of age, the “Standard” is informed by a local enthusiast, and Andrews and Wilson will be partnered in these as well as competing in the senior championships. As they were the only pair to win their doubles in last Monday’s match, and as they will have a lot of practice before the championships commence, there would appear to be quite a reasonably good prospect of a State junior championsliip coming to the Dominion on this occasion.
