ASSAULTED A CONSTABLE.
INCIDENT AFTER ARREST.
HAMILTON, April 4. A fin© of £7 10s was imposed on Harrv Cagewell, aged 55, in the Hamilton Polio© Court i'or assaulting Constable Peters. Th© incident was stated to have oocurred in the Frankton police station when accused, who had been arrested for drunkenness, was being searched. Aocused was also fined £2 10s i'or drunkenness.
