SANTA ROSA (Cal.), March 28. Luther Burbank, the famous botanist, is seriously ill, suffering from a heart attack.
Luther Burbank, who has just completed his 77th year, is noted all over the world as tho originator of new fruits and flowers. He has lived at Santa Rosa since 1875, the delightful climate of that part of California proving, congenial for his experimental forms, odiero more than 1,000,000 plants are raised every year for testing purposes.
