DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
EASTER THRONGS. ATTENDANCE RECORD ECLIPSED Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 6. Yesterday was tlio biggest day in the history of the exhibition. All day long crowds kept passing in through the busy turnstiles in thousands. From tlio early, forenoon the gardens, pavilions, courts and the amusement park were thronged by happy holidaymakers, and at night the memorable scenes which Saturday produced were repeated. When the attendance returns were added up it was discovered that the exhibition had beaten its own New Year’s Eve record for a single day’s attendance. The total yesterday was 51,323, compared with 50,971 on New Year’s Eve and 50.914 on Saturday last. The'two days have added 102,237 to the grand attendance which, at the end of the 20tli week, last night, stood at 2,501,275. Everyone now is usking: AVill it reach tlireo millions by May 1 ?
