BABY DROWNED.
SAD FATALITY.

WAIPUKURAU, April 6. The infant son, aged six months, of C. Waldron, Gaisford Terrace, Waipukurau, was drowned in a bath on Sunday morning. Iho mother was bathing the child, and left it for a few minutes, lying on its back, kicking and laughing, while she went to the kitchen. She returned to find the child doad. At the inquest yesterday a verdict was returned of death by accidental drowning.
