LONDON, March 22. Alexander Thomas, a British bluejacket, after celebrating his shore leave at Nice, saw fivo pretty girls smiling at him, and approached them with outstretched arms.
The next moment there was a loud crash, and two gendarmes climbed through the broken plate-glass window of an outfitter’s shop and rescued Thomas from among fivo overturned but still smiling wax models'.
