ODDFELLOWS’ ORDER.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. Per Press Association. MASTERTON. A\ ril 5. The biennial eonfei-ence of tho executive of the Grand Lodge of tho Independent Order of Oddfellows of New Zealand was hold here this week-end, delegates being present from Auckland, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Dunedin. Tho report showed an increase of the sick and funoral fund for the year of £IBOO. Sixteen new lodges were established during the year. The total surplus in tho sick and funeral fund is £39,423. In consequence of this it is proposed to increase the benefits to members.
