DAMAGE TO CROPS.
STORM AT RARATONGA
SEVERE LOSSES INFLICTED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 6. A radio message recoived by Sir Maui Pomare states that a storm last Thursday did extensive damage to the fruit crops at Raratonga, amounting to 75 per cent, of tho bananas, 50 per cent, of tho oranges and all tlio early tomatoes. The cocoanut losses are severe. It is expected that the Tahiti will bo able to load her cargo of fruit at Raratonga without trouble. 1
