GERMAN MILITARISM
.BERLIN, April 3. The Rote Fahne, a Communist organ, publishes a sensational article saying that full fledged military manoeuvres with aerial observations and armoured cars begin on April 5, involving 8500 members of the steel helmeted league, the most powerful of Germany’s militant monarchistic societies. A Leaguo officer said the paper deliberately exaggerated the yearly field exercises wherein no special airplanes are endeavouring to embarrass the Franco-German air negotiations now near conclusion at Paris.—A. and N.ZT. cable.
