BRITISH M.P.’S.
AUSTRALIAN VISIT. POSTPONEMENT FAVOURED. LONDON, March 18. Many members of Parliament advocate the postponement of the British Parliamentary visit to Australia, believing that tho holding of the Imperial Conference would . impair the success of the tour in 1926, and that a larger attendance would be likely in 1927. They suggest that the opehing of Canberra might be further postponed until September, 1927, when the Speaker’s chair could be presented at tho actual opening, instead of months ahead.
