Received January 25, 11.25 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 24. Tho fact that 90,800 war widows have rc-marricd since 1917 was disclosed in tho Ministry of Pensions’ report for the year ended March, 1925, when there were 1,905,000 recipients, of whom 50,000 were widows and dependants of officers.

Tho cost for the year was £69,122,000, compared with £72,448,000 in the preceding year, making the total payments to date £598,000,000. — A. and N.Z. cable.
