RAILWAYMEN'S WAGES.
RE-OPENING NEGOTIATIONS
LONDON, Jan. 23. Agreements havo been made for the railwaymen’s representatives to meet tho companies on January 25, and reopen negotiations, which hinge upon tho Wages Board’s decision depriving newly-engaged men from receiving tho bonus payable .to old-timera employed in the same grade. The men are pressing for the removal of the clause covering this point. Meanwhile the railwaymen’s conference has been adjourned till Monday.— Reuter.
