ACCIDENTS AT ASHHURST.
RIDER CRASHES INTO FENCE
ASHHURST, Jan. 22. Additional results of tho motor cycle races are as follow: PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP, 12 miles. Moller, 3fh.p. (50sec) 1 P. Coleman, 7h.p. (scr) • 2 D. Managh, 71i.p. (25sec) ... 3 Won by tho length of the straight. Time, 10.34 2-5. Early in the .race Lowe skidded and fell at the entrance to the straight. J. R. Arnott, of Hastings, who was following fast, struck Lowe’s machine and crashed into a fence. He sustained injuries to the body, but it is believed they are not serious. SIDE CAR HANDICAP. Wakelin, 4 h.p., 45secs. ... 1 Southward, Sli.p., 40secs ... 2 Viggars, 7 h.p., scr. ... ... 3 Won by length of a cycle. Time, 6.35 3-5.
