SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
YOUNG MAN INJURED. Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Jan. 21. Mr Lex Squires, who was admitted to tho Masterton Hosjiital to-day suffering from a gunshot wound, tho bullet having entered tho chest and penetrated the shoulder blade, is a son of Mr W. W. Squires, dentist, of Nelson. His condition is serious. Squires was accompanying E. Hart, son of llrigadier-General H. E. Hart, of Masterton ,on a camping expedition at Wliiterock Station. They went hunting yesterday, being armed with.3o3 rilles. Squires was sitting on a fence, but slipped, and contact with tho rilio discharged it.
